Review on πŸ”Š Bose Smart Soundbar 300: Enhanced Bluetooth Connectivity with Alexa Voice Control - Black by Wine Gray

A bit disappointed good for home audio

I grew up with Bose in my living room. My husband, not so much. So when I asked if we should consider buying a Bose speaker system for our living room, my husband agreed because he never got the chance to actually experience it. I will say: The Bose Smart Sound Bar 300 is just not what I expected and hyped my husband. Actually I'm a bit confused. It seems that in 2020 modern TV speaker technology will mean that a soundbar is no longer needed. Alexa on the Bose soundbar does its best, but doesn't work as well as our Firestick remote, and when it comes to turning TV sync on and off, it looks like Bose hasn't fixed it, because I remember there was a problem with their systems in the early 00's. Pros: - Incredibly optimized - Attractive color and shape - Ready for Alexa or Google - Can be used with an ARC-HDMI cable but not included works again - Lack of literature on how to control the soundbar - Can be used with an ARC-HDMI -Cable is used but is not included and required to use the app that helps set up the soundbar. Incredibly difficult to assemble Overall this was a fun toy. But like I said, I'm almost embarrassed to talk about how awesome Bose is and then have that experience. It was INCREDIBLY frustrating to set up the soundbar and the syncing issues with the TV got outdated FAST. I'd consider myself very tech savvy, but the soundbar doesn't sound much better than the actual TV we have and just doesn't seem like a very good value considering that.
