My normal coffee to water ratio is 2 tablespoons of coffee for every 4 ounces. Water as listed on the Revain page for this product, 2 tablespoons 5 ounce coffee. Water. I love my coffee more than most. No matter how much water you use, this meter will give you exactly two tablespoons of coffee. Simply dip the measuring instrument into the coffee, slide the slider over the surface of the measuring spoon with your finger, shake off the excess, and you have exactly two tablespoons of coffee in the measuring spoon. Works exactly as described and is easy to use. Hence five stars. Although the description page says hand wash, I've run it through our dishwasher and it works great and doesn't warp. Of course, like any similar product, it should be washed before use. There is no information on the device as to where it was manufactured and there is no such information on the box it comes in. I don't like it, hence five stars.
