Closed sandals? Waterproof shoes? Whatever you call them, they are well made and work great. My toddler used them for walks when he was worried his feet would get wet. So with a toddler it's basically everywhere. These shoes are strong yet light and very flexible, just like you would expect in a good shoe, especially for growing feet. They hold up very well to splashes and walking around. His feet are dry from everything we've done. No slip issues - the non-slip base works well. Velcro allows him to put them on himself which is a bonus. The velcro also feels very strong and grippy.
