After installing a fresh Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on an SSD, the system hung intermittently. First once a day or two, then every day several times. And after acomuple of months it just stopped loading. The BIOS did not find the drive. I've tried it on other laptops and it's the same. I gave it for a replacement under warranty, but for now I returned my old SSD to the same slot and it worked perfectly for a month and a half. When they gave me a new one, I rolled Manjaro Linux and again the same…

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

With its pros. It works, it holds 2200 in sequential read / write (crystaldiskmark) With its cons. Price (about 11000in 05202222), expensive, but this is a problem with any NVMe SSD. It would be better if I took 2 TB not in 2022 for a little more money

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

I was looking for a drive without the possibility of using a native or additional radiator. The average temperature at work is 40-50 degrees. If anyone needs a similar option, but a little faster, then look at this model: Kingston 1000 GB (SKC2022M8 / 1000G), but for the price, it is already less optimal, and not as much faster as it is already more expensive. Different pros: Great option M2 SSD for laptop! Maybe in terms of speed there is still room to grow, but in terms of temperatures for a…

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

In the real speed of work, i. E. random read / write, and the declared resource is not inferior to the more expensive Samsung evo plus. At the same time, it is noticeably colder at work. Without a radiator, it shows no more than 45-50 under load and 35 at idle. Well, after the usual HDD, you can generally describe yourself with happiness, how everything is fast (= Different pros: Flat, small and cold, you can eat ice cream with them Well, still fast and capacious Has some cons Still, 10,000 for

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

Expected, of course, more. The support service replied that this is the norm and no one will exchange it for me - neither the store nor Kingston itself.

    Pros
    • Well, the speed is more than regular SSDs
    Cons
    • The maximum read speed is far from 2200 mb / s. Above 1500 does not rise. So they didn’t deceive - it really is UP TO (!) 2200, sinking to 800. Maybe I was less lucky than others. At that time it was the cheapest NVME.

I took Chia before the hype, I wanted to resell it, in the end everything was quickly blown away and the disk remained with me. I put it in the computer, it became + 1TB of memory, it's already great, and also the speed of the hoo. Here I sit and think about how to fill it.

    Excellent product, the best quality.

If you plan to frequently copy large files or unpack archives in a photo, the speed of copying an archive in a photo is about 300mb sec and the temperature rises quickly, respectively, a radiator is needed. Addition to the review, I installed the simplest passive radiator, the temperature immediately dropped under load and did not exceed 49 degrees! Copy speeds doubled!

    Pros
    • Value for money . I took it in the new mart store.
    Cons
    • Fast heating of the ssd when copying large files larger than 75GB, the temperature jumps to 72 degrees and the copy speed starts to reset from 800 mb sec to 145 mb.

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

Very good storage. Worth your money. I plan to buy another one of the same in a stationary and another such drive in a laptop. The only nuance was found during the migration of the system. I caught a strange jamb with device forwarding in Windows. Background: about five years ago I used a regular hdd, then by means of kingston hdd to ssd I migrated the system "as is" to a regular 2.5 ssd. Years passed, everything worked perfectly. I recently decided to upgrade from sata ssd to this kingston m2

    Pros
    • Excellent storage.
    Cons
    • No.

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

it is impossible to download a program (Acronis) from the manufacturer's support site to transfer the operating system to the SSD. I had to look for the possibility of third-party programs. the installation file from the Kingston website is downloaded very slow and each time a different size. accordingly, the installer of the operating system transfer program does not start as a result. the manufacturer is worth pulling up this issue leaves not the most pleasant impression.

    Pros
    • works. write/read speed is excellent. laptop got a second life
    Cons
    • missing mounting screw included. Fortunately, the laptop manufacturer provided for this and the screw was on the motherboard.

I am very upset, the product is no good.

After several months of operation, the disk began to act up, when windows is rebooted, bios does not load, it gives error A0, moved the same problem to another computer, when rebooting, error A0 is displayed sometimes A2 and the PC does not boot further, the info disk writes an error on line 03 if the PC is turned off for about 5 minutes, the disk will start up, but it behaves unstable during operation, windows sometimes freezes for a split second and then it works fine. There is no guarantee…

NVMe is fast. - Computer and accessories

When I bought my Acer PC for the first time last summer, it came with a mechanical hard drive. I had a 2.5 SATA III HD on my old computer so I knew I could speed it up. It had an M.2 slot for NVMe. And really all I had to do was install it, I messed around with the bios settings. It was an educational experience. Any SSD is way ahead of a mechanical drive. Surprisingly, these NVMes are slightly cheaper than 2.5-inch SSDs and, according to Crystal Disk, much faster.

    Pros
    • Not cheap, but decent
    Cons
    • Almost everything included

Died a few months later. Silence from support

As a drive it's lightning fast as NVMe should be. But after a few months, this device is no longer recognized as a boot drive by the Intel NUC UEFI. I've followed Intel's troubleshooting steps, confirmed that the BIOS is up to date, and found that this issue is due to a hard drive failure. I have contacted Kingston Support but have not received an acknowledgment of my request after 72 hours. While Kingston is usually a trusted brand, their customer service doesn't seem to match the quality of…

    Best Value: Computers and Accessories

If you don't have NVMe when you're doing something else, there's nothing better. Kingston has been known for so long and their products never disappoint. I would recommend at least 500GB as NVMe is faster with more capacity, but even with 250 you can't go wrong. Games load so fast, and if you're using it for your Windows boot drive, it's fast with PCIe. I am using Crucial MX 500 1TB, Kingston A2000 500GB NVMe Gen 3 x4 PCIe and Toshiba 7200RPM 1TB. You can get a "faster" drive. But honestly I'm…

Stays very cold, no heater required. Outperforms SSD.

I've run hard drive tests on this card and got phenomenal results. I also check the temperature with an infrared thermometer and it stays cool (less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit on the controller) through various tests. The controller area of the card stays pretty cool and I don't see a heatsink on it. I even did a full system restore on this flash drive, which took hours due to using USB 2.0 on a mechanical hard drive. This constant recording didn't let the temp rise either, it was still below…

    Very durable and fast SSD

This internal SSD A2000 M.2 2280 Nvme with 1 TB from Kingston has everything you expect from an internal SSD. After building my first gaming PC with this component, I've noticed a noticeable increase in speed when playing some games, but the greater speed increase seems to show up in video editing software and during normal use of the software (Windows, Office, and etc.). I can definitely attest to the durability of this SSD. If you look at the screenshot, I don't have a screw to fix the SSD to

Fast and reliable brand for the price of a SATA SSD

I have this as a Windows 10 boot drive with ASRock B450M Pro4 motherboard, Ryzen 5 3400G processor and 2 x 8GB Team T-FORCE 3200 DDR4 Storage. Everything works normally, without overclocking. I set the "Ultra M.2" SSD as the primary boot device in the BIOS, rebooted to the Windows 10 setup files on a USB stick, and installed Win 10 on that drive with no problems. It works great as a fast boot drive. If you're used to standard hard drive boot times, this SSD will be lightning fast. After loading

    • This is great
