This little Velleman kit is pretty easy to put together. Make sure you understand how to identify small capacitors. Instructions are available online. Antenna input and output connectors are not included. You will need panel mount F connectors and you will need to widen the existing mounting holes to reveal the PCB. You can solder the power supply wires directly to the designated solder pins on the board. It would be a good idea to fill the hole in the power cord with silicone to ease the tension a bit. The PCB metal box is a little big, which makes it difficult to solder the board according to the instructions. Use plenty of heat on the sheet metal, but be careful not to overheat the board. For this part of the work I used a 250w soldering iron. (Use a soldering iron/soldering iron with enough heat to make a good solder joint when placing components on the board.) Make small sections with cool down times in between. The top and bottom covers fit well. And yes, once I was done boosting the FM signal on my radio worked.
