I used this kit on an EagleTec ET-KG010 mechanical keyboard. The puller worked well with all keys on this keyboard. I removed each connector with a puller and placed a sound absorbing ring on each stand under each key. Someone took two rings and someone took three rings. There was a noticeable reduction in audio when clicking from the bottom, but it was still the click of a mechanical keyboard. I didn't notice any difference in the brightness of the blue background. This keyboard uses blue switches that feel like cherry switches, with maybe a little more travel. There were plenty of damper rings for parts when I needed them. Good kit.
