I was in awe of them until I realized how difficult it was to get water out of them. They are, of course, hermetic, but at the expense of timely and satisfactory humidification. My 2.5 year old told me it was broken. I took out the inner mechanism, put it back in, tried it myself and still had trouble getting a drop of water out of the bottle. We've only been using it for 2 days, maybe it will get better with time. So far I regret this purchase. Our nephew has a comparable version of the camelback with a straw which our 2.5 year old and I were much happier with.
