I am very disappointed in them especially considering the price. This is a 1/2 inch thick piece of recycled padding with a thin layer of loose rubber on both sides. The hexagonal design will be erased if you rub it with your fingers. I put them under the sofa (medium size on a wooden floor) and they work fine. with a person sitting on it, but that wasn't the main problem I had with my old solution (cut honeycomb silicon stand). I spend most of my time sitting on the floor in front of the sofa and leaning my laptop on it on the coffee table. These pads don't have enough friction to prevent the sofa from sliding back when nobody is sitting on it. Now you might think this won't be a problem for you, but it will also move if you bump into it as you walk past or whatever, it tends to move when discharged. I'm sure the rubber is wearing out pretty quickly on the top (the sofa has slats on the buttons) and starting to eat through the felt upholstery. Also, the title is pretty misleading. "Anti-slip rubber 1/2 inch thick" means 1/2 inch hard rubber to me, no. t .050 inch rubber sprayed on both sides of the mat.
