The remote control was already synced to my TV and was easy to learn. I bought it because the original Samsung remote has a ridiculous volume and mute button all in one. And due to the sheer volume of political ads right now, I almost erased the original's mute button. This remote control is easy to use, but the reason I bought it is because the mute button is a bit recessed and not easy to press. It gets very hard on my finger and I don't use it as often as I would like. That's why I only gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars.
