I recently turned 50 years old. My intention was to pay a seamstress to sew me a matching skirt. To my surprise, after reading the reviews, I saw a similar skirt for me. I took the plunge and ordered this one and I was NOT disappointed. The skirt comes in a sealed vacuum bag and had an odd smell. After taking it out of the package and then turning it upside down for about 24 hours, the smell disappeared and the skirt became very fluffy. because this elastic waist is quite tight. You can't see through as there is a lined skirt underneath and the length was perfect. I got compliments all night and felt like a beautiful princess.
