Review on Sony ICF-CS10IP: Premium Docking Station with iPhone Support (Discontinued) by Chad Overturf

I was looking for a docking station and of course I wanted Bose, but I didn't want to pay $250! One of the main reasons I wanted a dock, as I already have Alltec speakers for my iPod so I can connect it to the pool in the summer, was so I could listen to meditations before bed and charge the iPod at night. Since I wanted it next to the bed and my alarm clock was a few years old, I went with the alarm clock/dock duality. And this Sony is a great fit for both roles! It couldn't be easier to use when it comes to iPod features. The sound is AMAZING. Almost Bose quality! The alarm clock has so many fun features that make waking up easier. You can set the days of the week you want the alarm to sound, which station you (or your iPod) would like to be woken up to, and even the exact volume. I go to bed loud with my meditations so they "surround" me, but I like to wake up to the local radio station and not so loud. Boom, my needs are met thanks to this versatile machine. What I like best is that it has brightness control and the ability to "dim" completely. I hate bright watches and this one has 3 levels of brightness, one of which is total darkness. It's like this alarm clock was made especially for me. I am pleased!
