The gate is easy to assemble using the clamps provided. My senior dog dies without contacting them and will stay away from the space we blocked. However, the new pup just storms through.

Works well to keep my golden puppy in the room when I'm with him. I had to reinstall because. She went under the gate the first time, but after adjusting the distance I had no problems.

The straps that came with it ruined my walls and still fell off. Others couldn't stand my canine intelligence: she either ate the tapes or just walked under the soft gate like an acrobat. Don't waste money on it. Buy reliable gates.

Requires a 3rd horizontal post below to function so animal cannot pass under gate. Also, the hooks are not deep enough to hold the loops when the dog pushes the gate. Use a deeper hook or a double-sided hook that looks like fishing line so the circle can't step on it.

Bought as a temporary fix in our new house while we have construction going on and it's amazingly effective! Despite the fact that we had to stretch it (and I knew it would happen), it didn't lose its shape. The only downside is that the hooks don't stay. This works much better with screw eyelets (screws with eyelets?).

It does what it's supposed to do (keep our dogs out of the kitchen when we cook) but we don't care about the fact that it's awkward to store away , meaning you either leave it hanging from the included hook or take it off and roll it up. It's well done. It's just awkward to store.

For my purposes this is a very good gate. It is not durable as it is almost like nylon fabric. But I just wanted it to be a physical barrier so my dog doesn't try to leave the patio when we're there together. It's more psychological as it's a physical presence. And you can see through it well enough that it's not dark and closed. It's definitely worth the low price of $8. It serves its purpose well.

Mesh is strong enough. My daughter said it smelled, I didn't feel it. I would suggest using command hooks instead of the included ones. They took the paint off the wall. I'll patch it in a few places, but this can be avoided with detachable command hooks. In addition to this review, I purchased a black rubber strap and replaced the hanging loops. $1.38 solution for originals that broke at any voltage.

Updated: This gate doesn't stand a chance of even being nailed shut. I had to throw them away. Great idea but didn't work :( I waited a few days to write this review and I'm glad I did. This product is great but unfortunately I have dull paint on my walls, the glue sticks to the wood panels surprisingly well but won't stick to my walls for even a second...so I decided to nail them down and my nails have no chance of succeeding.Lots of good company for this and the glue is great in perfect…
