Not very durable. I had to take some preventive measures to make it work.
Mesh is strong enough. My daughter said it smelled, I didn't feel it. I would suggest using command hooks instead of the included ones. They took the paint off the wall. I'll patch it in a few places, but this can be avoided with detachable command hooks. In addition to this review, I purchased a black rubber strap and replaced the hanging loops. $1.38 solution for originals that broke at any voltage.
