Updated: This gate doesn't stand a chance of even being nailed shut. I had to throw them away. Great idea but didn't work :( I waited a few days to write this review and I'm glad I did. This product is great but unfortunately I have dull paint on my walls, the glue sticks to the wood panels surprisingly well but won't stick to my walls for even a second...so I decided to nail them down and my nails have no chance of succeeding.Lots of good company for this and the glue is great in perfect conditions.I had to get even heavier nails with THICK ends to keep them from coming loose and believe it or not my pup doesn't even jump on them I use it as a reminder not to go into rooms it's from hooking and unhooking to to getting in and out of rooms by the family tearing it to pieces!It's been 2 days and I've been through countless nails and hooks.Anyway for the price and effort it's not a bad product!Si e just need to work with it a little to meet your needs! Don't expect it to hold back the big dogs or be stubborn either. Just practice and reminder. Does the job it's supposed to do!
