Who. Did Know: Kitchen & Bath Accessories

Never thought I would be reviewing a toilet seat but here I am. It doesn't seem like it matters, but it probably does: I'm female, 5ft 6 inches tall and weigh 135-140lbs depending on the day. I'm not a rush babysitter for my "condition", I'm an exhausted and stressed out single mother/guardian of an adult child (2 years old in a 23 year old body) so my only respite is sometimes half an hour in the bathroom. The problem with this seemed to be that if I took my time, my legs and feet would get numb as I got older. Luckily my old ("Standard” brand) seat turned pink because I use bleach to clean and the bleach removed the finish. I tried painting it - never waste your money trying to be cheap and paint the toilet seat, trust me! - and it made me feel like I was sitting in an 80 grit seat to make my legs and feet numb so I bit the bullet, read the reviews and bought it. Why exactly that? Because every day at 2am my friend accidentally dropped an old seat and I had a little heart attack. The silent close feature won me over - lol. (It has no hydraulics. I don't know why I thought [Face Palm] needs to be pushed down rather than raised. The hinge is tight and keeps the seat and lid from flapping freely.) In each Case. MY LEGS AND FEET DO NOT SLEEP! I don't know what caused the old seat to do this, but what a relief! I am serious! I would give this place 100/5 stars if I could.
