Finally found the perfect hat. Wide, open mesh on the back lets a lot of air through. The velcro is easy to adjust and stays in place. Light color stays cooler in the Florida sun. A nice touch is the dark blue lining under the beak. Creates an extra dark shadowed area over my eyes. I'm not a big fan of "aged" caps, but nobody notices the small tears and frays intentionally cut into the tip of the beak. Does that make him harder and harder? Doesn't matter. I suggest the manufacturer stop "worrying" and just sell me a new hat with no fake damage. But I will still buy more, the design is so perfect!
