Lid Condenser Lid

Survived first winter so don't know about durability but looks nice and solid. Ease of installation. The 36" x 36" fits my 34" x 34" condenser mic better than I expected. Allow good airflow through the sides to prevent ice and debris from entering. yes i recommend it

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Empty

Keeps Snow Out - Heating, Cooling & Air Quality

I measured the top of my air conditioner and based on that I thought the 32 X32 would be fine to cover the top and hang down like in the picture. When I installed it I had to stretch it a lot to cover the top and it doesn't hang as much as it does in the picture. With that information, I would go for the next larger size.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Older Model

Air Conditioner Cover Easy & Strong

Perfect! It was a lot nicer than I thought. I'm so glad I don't have to use the big round lid I bought. Very easy to install in minutes. Winter has just started so not sure about durability yet but it looks very strong. Small bungee clamps could be a bit bigger/stronger but just bring your own if you are unsure in strong winds.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later

I couldn't be happier. Exactly what I needed!

I bought a 36x36 case because my AC unit is 32x30. It fits great! Another great thing to mention, they sent me 5 elastic cords instead of 4 and I'm so glad they did because one side of my AC is slippery. So I connected two bungees together to make a longer bungee and then connected it to the bottom of the AC unit. Absolute recommendation to buy this product!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great accessory air conditioner cover

Need a cover for your first winter with a new external air conditioner. A good friend who is an HVAC specialist said that this is a much better option than full coverage as it still allows the unit to 'breathe' as full coverage can cause condensation in/on the motor mounts. This case appears to be of good quality and will hopefully last a long time. The rubber bands also appear to be of good quality. I appreciate the additional bungee cord that this item comes with. I recommend!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Size 36x36 fits my 34x34 but barely covers my 36x36. The small bungee cords included in the kit have plastic guards on their sharp edges and will not last long. Also, my particular air conditioners don't have ribs evenly distributed over all four corners. After they got blown away by the first wind I had to go back and add a long bungee on one side. However, after looking at many of them, they all look pretty much the same, so you might as well take them and make them. They fit.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power

Works very well in air conditioner components and accessories

My air conditioner is essentially in a wind tunnel. The wind blows over the back hill and along the house. Nothing is left of the past. It has. It seems well made, fits securely and looks good (not like a cheap tarp). If you don't already know, through research I've learned that you shouldn't use a full air conditioner cover - it traps moisture. Everything I've read indicates you need to coat the top with a product that keeps ice and snow out of the air conditioner but doesn't trap moisture.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Best Top Cover. Updated 2019

I've had a lot of AC condenser caps and they've either been torn to shreds or blown away in the wind. A buddy of mine who is also an HVAC contractor also told me never to use a full coat as it traps water and condensation in the off season and causes rust/corrosion. Having been in trading all my life, I agree. So far this fall/winter we've had a couple of nasty storms and strong winds up to 65mph. This cover has not moved. When the time comes I will buy more. PS: Choose a slightly larger size…

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
