My stock car headlights had halogen bulbs which I replaced with Aukee H7 LED headlights, 50W 6000K. LED lamps caused error codes and flickering, which required a decoder. I liked the size and price of the AnyCar H7 canbus decoder that I bought and installed. A few minutes after installation this decoder became very hot, around 150F. No doubt this decoder will not work on this BMW. I went back to Revain and bought another one that seems to stay cool and gets rid of errors and flicker: Hikari Pair LED Conversion Kit Headlight Canbus Error Free Anti-Flicker Resistor Decoder - H7. I like the new look of my headlight. Hope this helps with your BMW headlight upgrade and saves you some research time.
