Review on 🐭 Niteangel Small Animal Cotton Rope Nets: Optimal Toy for Rats and Ferrets by Joy Janes

This is the second of these hammocks that I've bought for my rat girls and it's worth having two as it's a unique product and VERY good processed! I admit I was a bit skeptical/skeptical before purchasing this item for my girls as I thought the 'hammock' was a bit overpriced. However, this is NOT a typical hammock! In fact, I don't even think it should be called a hammock because people (myself included) will most likely switch to it, thinking it's too expensive or that they can just make it themselves. I think this should be labeled as an educational toy, training product or agility toy/accessory for ferrets, degus, rats, mice, squirrels, sugar gliders and birds to ensure it doesn't act like a regular hammock. I actually never buy one, like I said, it's pretty expensive for a hammock. This item is very durable and overall seems perfect for small animals. This hammock is perfect for cage exercise, unlike the regular hammock typically used for snuggling or resting. The ropes are woven very tightly together and are made of a durable material that I'm sure will last a long time. The braided rope design actually reminds me of the paracord bracelets that I'm sure many of you are familiar with as paracord is very strong and extremely useful! I'm not saying this rope is REALLY paracord lol. But when you compare this product to a regular hammock, it REALLY reminds me of paracord for its durability and overall good workmanship. My little climber Gracie Girl scaled it straight away and loves to use it whenever and wherever she can. My older/chubby girl Ruby Rat has very poor eyesight and has fallen numerous times, slipped off certain hammocks and even fallen out of tunnels, especially those with slippery surfaces. These falls caused her to be generally more cautious when using items of this type. However, she was very happy to find that she could actually hold onto the textured rope tightly and felt confident enough to pull herself up, over, over, down and even sideways with no problem! She really looked like she was so proud of her accomplishment! This is a BIG WINNER in my toddler SAFETY book! And it gets points for being AMAZING for young rats that are good at rock climbing/climbing AND for older rats that are overweight or have health problems! Excellent! I bought the first one and my girls loved it so much I bought the second one to have even more customization and placement options. They seem to like having one on each level of their cage. The 6 included clips/rings are of excellent quality and offer you placement and variety options. I have many other hanging toys that have hooks and these hooks are much stronger than any other I have. I would like to emphasize the great packaging and the fast shipping. Turns out you can stretch this thing out with the included clips to create a pretty darn solid platform that will allow your furry little one to safely get from point A to point B with no difficulty. You can make a standard hammock or U shape with 4 clips and your rats can wrestle with it or tumble after jumping off a ledge, shelf, ladder etc because it really is. . strong! They can tilt it with the clamps to create a pitched "roof" setup that they love to zoom in and out on repeatedly. You can also create a very cool (and very interesting) climbing wall if you hang it horizontally with brackets from the top of the cage down, under a shelf (like CN/FN cages) or on the cage itself. Bars! It's like watching baby rats at military drills! How adorable! 🤗 I rotate them frequently to provide them with the appropriate mental and physical stimulation they need and to complement their ever-growing accessories and toys. This is a truly wonderful product that can be used by a variety of small animals! I think this item would be great for mice, rats, degus, ferrets, sugar gliders, birds, squirrels and maybe even lizards! 😁 Overall, I think this article has been a great investment for my girls and has definitely helped my chubby girl become more confident and active.
