My problem was forming 37 degree double flares on multiple diameters of steel, aluminum and stainless steel tubing. My biggest initial problem was putting too much force on the aluminum tube with the cone (step two) and squeezing the tube so it wouldn't fit into the tube nut. Once I've loosened the flare a bit, the ends form normally.
