This was my first time buying or using polymer clay and I was a little surprised at the amount included in this set. But as I worked more with polymer clay, I realized it wasn't so bad after all. You don't need a lot of clay for a project, so a little goes a long way. However, I had some trouble sticking to the porcelain tile I was using as a workbench. Sculptey 3 is much softer than Premo. I think that simplifies small details, but I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and it gets hot there. This makes it almost impossible to shape without feeling it melt. I think this is a great start for beginners and I will definitely be buying this again for any of my friends who are thinking of getting into polymer clay. The colors were great too. Very bright and good choice.
