Firstly the sound quality is great, lots of bass but not too much. It has better separation between instruments than my other BT speakers, allowing you to hear every part of an orchestra, for example. I listen to a variety of music and all genres of music work with this speaker. I would describe the sound as improved over my other BT speakers. I have a DOSS SoundBox XL 32W, a small Anker Soundcore that I use as computer speakers and an older Soundfreaq Soundstep with charger for my iPhone in my bedroom that I only use to play podcasts as it's not good enough for music . I have this speaker in my office. It has an auxiliary cable so it can act as a smart speaker when connected to my Echo dot. The buttons on the top of the speaker are easy to use compared to my other BT speakers. Other speakers require the user to press the power button for a full second before turning it on. With this speaker, just press the power button like most devices. The BT and Aux buttons are equally easy to press.
