We received and installed it two days ago and from the start I could tell the hammock was of poor quality as it seemed very weak even with the screws tightened . We come in today and while the cat was resting on it the hammock gave way and the cat fell, luckily we fixed this particular hammock lower on the wall but that certainly scared the kitten. Failed at the mounting points of metal bars, it looks like cheap aluminum has been cut off. For reference, our cat weighs 9 pounds. I would recommend another brand with more structural support.
