I usually wear XL in most things but I got this in 2X which overall fits fine. I'm 6'3", 245lb, muscular, 38" waist. Sleeves are still a bit short if I were going to wear them down, but being a beach shirt I don't care because cuffs are rolled. Two folds of the cuffs brings it below the elbow and 3 takes it just above. My arms are too big to wear above the elbow, but my similarly sized but less muscular, 20 lb lighter, pretty average dad-bod buddy is comfortable with either. It isn't a slim-fit shirt, but there isn't extra material at the waist for a big belly, but a little middle age chunk fits.I've only worn this a handful of times and have always washed and dried delicate. That has worked fine. I don't think the weave would hold up to regularly laundering on normal/perm-press. But it is inexpensive, comfortable and that is a small issue. I like it enough to buy more in other colors.
