Review on 🌬️ Primeswift 990-53 Humidifier Water Valve Assembly for GeneralAire 24V, 3.5 Gallon/hr - Replaces 1042, 1042L, 1042LH, 1137 by Quinton Martinez

I seem to go through a new valve for my Generalaire solenoid every year, although every spring I try to clean, disconnect and dry it. It was the cheapest replacement valve I've seen and I'll give it a try. I connected two wires and it worked in my first test. However, while assembling the humidifier, I found that the outlet did not fit my 1137 Generalaire outlet tube. (The picture looks correct, but the outlet fitting was different.) I was able to take my old valve apart (not easy. These fittings can be incredibly tight) and replace it with the wrong new one. (Cover thread with Teflon tape, otherwise it will leak). Everything seems fine. Hope it lasts another season.
