Review on 🌟 Alla Lighting New Super Bright H3 LED Fog Light Bulbs (Set of 2) - High Power CSP LED, Xenon White, 6000K, Fog Light Lamps Replacement by Andrew Spainhour

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good light in a 1997-2002 F150/Expedition fog lamp assembly where others have fared poorly

These Alla H10 (9145) fog lamps have performed excellently in a Ford F150/Expedition fog lamp assembly. I've found that most 9145's don't sync and the normal double sided board style didn't give good light on Expedition as the mount didn't match the expected bulb to achieve vertical board orientation with left and right facing LEDs. Therefore, these types of light bulbs gave very bad light. These cylindrical H10 (9145) Alla bulbs had 6 rows of LEDs on the top, bottom and two on the left and right, and 3 LEDs on the 'front' lens. This assembly fits the 1997-2002 F150/Expedition fog lamp reflector assembly and provides the best light I have seen. The color is good, 6000K, which matches my main LED lights (another brand) (also 6000K) and the light output is about the same (a bit more, but not by much) than the halogens. But now the color matches between my fog lights and my network, yes. If you drive in heavy fog or snow I would say that either an all amber halogen or all amber LED would work for you, but I usually only see light fog occasionally and so it's usually just supplemental lighting. and now it matches the color and looks great and they were significantly better in overall reflector pattern than the no-clock blades. (Probably a clocked blade would work the same way) but I think they would still look better due to the 3 "front" LEDs which also eliminate the shadow on the front of the light block. It is great. I don't know about durability yet so I gave them a 2 for durability as I don't know yet.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
