I am very satisfied with these lamps. One downside is that the aluminum base has a 0.15" larger outside diameter than traditional halogen bulbs. My installation required cutting a flexible dust cover to fit over the base of the lamp. The color and pattern of the projected light is excellent. These bulbs were used in an RV which has a reputation for being a dim front light.The usual solution is to add a heavier gauge wire relay that connects the halogen bulbs to the fuse box.Consequently the wattage of these bulbs makes the need for these more complex wiring change.I recommend it for RV owners with dim headlights.
