so far so good. I've only had him for a week. I had to replace the gas range and minimize the cooking surface. I have never used an induction hob. This is a magical event if you have never used this technology. There is no fire and no direct heat. The magnet-friendly metal molecules are excited by the pulse generated by the device. So no visible heat. The only danger is that the pot will get hot; and everything inside will heat up. It was weird cooking with a sheet of napkin under the pan while the sauce was cooking. The only thing that was a bit odd was that you had to calculate the wattage, not the temperature. Overall, Ovente delivered a good product.
