Review on HUINING Membrane 1812 50 Residential Water Purifier by Brian Unruh

Bought this to replace an old housing that was starting to leak. I was just looking for a case that offered this value for money - well made and easy to install - exactly what I was looking for! Pros: Good construction Includes adapters and hoses Cons: Instructions are difficult to follow, especially where the outlet and unnecessary fittings go. The directions may be wrong as they show the outlet on the side and the drain in the middle - the middle (where the double ring part of the membrane goes) is the water outlet and the one closer to the canister wall is the waste. It doesn't have chokes, so you'll create a large amount of waste water by just using the parts included in the kit. When I replaced the old body, I used my previous 50 gallon per day flow restrictors. Buyers should be aware of this as it's not exactly "plug and play".
