My 11 year old partner left me at the end of last year. It's been a long time and over the years I've become very addicted to sleeping in hugs. With what's going on with the coronavirus, I don't even have someone to hug. It was unbearable. I was just so lonely and miserable. I've tried weighted blankets and they work to a degree, but not quite. They are not as warm as humans. And then it occurred to me. Probably the greatest physical sensation we get from hugging is warmth. So I decided to buy this one. Underneath the weighted blanket, I have warmth, weight, and a bit of softness. Of course it's not the same, though. Spring. Either way, nothing will ever be the same again.
