I am cleaning the house of an elderly woman who recently fell and broke her neck. All of her mats were raised to allow her to move around easily in her wheelchair. The good news is that it runs now, but I was afraid that if I mope (the traditional way) it would fall again because the ground was wet for a while afterwards. I have invested in a steam cleaner as it dries the floor faster and doesn't leave a lot of water on the floor. It worked great but I didn't have enough pads for my whole house so I called Revane and looked for extra pads. There are many generics here and after extensive research I decided to use them. After opening them I liked them better than the ones that came with the Shark XL steam mop with water tank. They were thicker, had a scruffy texture which I really like because I know they stick to the bottom a bit (which they are) and they were a bit bigger. I didn't have to fight or force myself to wear them like the originals. The only negative I found was that one of the pads in the set I received was not fully sewn up the side. I've added an image to show this. Another before and after photo. They work very well! After washing, they held their shape very well and were easy to put on, but didn't look nice and white. I'm sure if you could use bleach, you would. The originals looked whiter, but that might be because they didn't pick up as much dirt. Anyway, I'm so happy with them (unless they're not sewn) that I can buy them again and highly recommend them.
