Edit - Quality control issues

11/05/2021: I decided to keep these tennis balls and cut them up to see what made the quality so bad. They have been cleaned and cut. The base rubber of all three balls is a different colour: one dark grey, one moldy green and one very rough, pimply white which lost pressure quickly. The dark gray has a curved, raised hem on the inside. green smooth. The yellow felt is also bad: long staples on two balls and a short fuzz that can be easily washed off on the other. All three balls can be cleaned almost to the edge as the felt glue is patchy and uneven. Wilson should be ashamed. The balls were made in Thailand, apparently from scrap material and without quality control. Poor quality tennis balls being returned for a refund: ▪ Lumpy, flaking stitches on the felt. ▪ Balls are not numbered consecutively. All 3 have the number "1". ▪No new tennis ball smell when opening the plastic container. Also, these balls are heavy and don't bounce well. They are not suitable for light games as they need to be hit very hard. It is not recommended to be used as a toy for large animals, as small balls can choke them.
