I was looking for a product other than the hugely popular Feliaway. My mother's cat doesn't get along with my cat. They usually fight each other. My cat keeps his distance most of the time. However, when they meet in the hallway, this is the main battlefield. When I received the diffuser, I simply screwed the bottle into the cork and plugged it in. I smelled like work right away. I put this right in the closet, they collide with each other and so far aren't as explosive as they used to be. There's still growls and lots of stares, but less chasing.
