Review on P1 TOOLS Motorcycle Exhaust Installer by Jeremiah Small

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Minor changes required for my purposes.

Tool works great. However, the springs would have to be adjusted a bit. The hooks on the spring had a sharp bend on one end instead of a rounded bend, so the end of the spring hook rubbed against the muffler when installed. inlet pipe. Being picky I didn't like it so I took an old #2 screwdriver and stuck it in the spring, then used a vise to bend the end of the spring a little more to clean the tubes. These springs are stiff, much stiffer than the cheap zinc plated springs that came with the cheap mufflers the bike had when it was bought which I was able to remove by hand. The springs will not fall off the bike, a tool is required. 4 stars as I had to do some extra handwork but they do what they were bought for.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No mold required
