Review on Hunter Indoor Ceiling Fan Control Lighting & Ceiling Fans for Ceiling Fans & Accessories by Chris Tobin

I hate giving negative reviews but I'm really disappointed with the quality of this fan. I bought 2 of these in May 2016 and we installed them professionally (as I didn't want to mess around with setup, installation and wiring). Both worked like champions. I used one occasionally but the other had the fan running most of the time and the light was on average probably 4-5 hours a day. Today the one that is "heavy" used decided to make a strong popping sound when I wanted to turn on the light. After unscrewing them I noticed that one was definitely burned and the other two looked slightly burned but seemed fine. I went ahead and replaced them all with new LED bulbs, went to turn them on and nothing. Make sure it was the right type of bulb and everything before I bought it. Strangely, the fan still works well and it's still quiet, but I can't hear the light. I'm going to see an electrician, but I'm not really hoping for him. The other fan works fine but I'm just wondering when it will fail. TL:DR - Good fan, very short lifespan. It may be wise to spend a few bucks more to get a higher quality device.
