I was completely surprised at how heavy the package was when I received it. Don't worry about its thickness, it will be more than enough (unless you want to add a 4U 200lb UPS)! The quality and finish was too high and exceeded my expectations by a mile. I was amazed that what I assumed was made in China would be of such high quality and design when I saw it was made by these wonderful Canadians who explained the quality. If you need a sturdy wall shelf to store your networking or computer gear, this is definitely the solution!
