UPDATE: I originally gave this a 3 star rating due to something missing from the box but after a week of use it seems to have gone and my recordings play fine now . . Breaking the stylus is mainly necessary to ensure that the sound quality is good and does not skip, give it a little time, the build quality is very good and the built-in speakers are excellent, overall a great purchase! I really recommend this if you're starting a collection like me👍🏻
