Screen broken after a few days; Same thing happened with another cheaper Runleader speedometer that I also bought here. The even cheaper recessed tachometer I got in the kit with the carburetor adjustment tools isn't as accurate (+/- 60 RPM) but didn't break even though it was permanently attached to my work saw. This tachometer worked well until it broke. Accuracy was +/- 10 RPM, fast refresh (2Hz?), backlighting, and a large screen that was easier to read, at least until it broke and became a paperweight. It has a slot for a removable battery, but the cable is soldered to the board. If you turn off the engine after starting the saw, the tachometer will flash with the highest RPM since the engine started. It recorded total engine run time, which the tachometer showed to the nearest 0.1 hour, as well as a service timer that can be reset, such as: B. the secondary A/B odometer reading of a car. The two improvements I would suggest would be a recessed and usually stronger shield and a wire slot so the wire can be switched on/off and replaced rather than being permanently soldered to the device.
