I'm 5'10, size 16. I ordered XXL and I'm very happy with the vest. To tell the truth, I would have liked an inside pocket for the phone, but it doesn't bother me. The fabric is firm but not stiff and I love that the hem and neckline can gather in the wind. The fleece lining is very soft. Two things that made me love this vest are that it's shaped but not tight, and the shoulders are rounded at the top so they don't stick out straight like military epaulettes. I think this is an amazing purchase of very simple but essential Pacific Northwest clothing.
