Same problem as many other users. 2007 expedition for a car. A remote worked for programming, but the tailgate button didn't work. The other remote was dead the entire time. I tried changing the batteries to see if the battery was dead and it still doesn't work. I tried a battery in a working remote that I thought was dead and then that didn't work either! I spend some time in their online chat and still can't get it to work. They wanted me to unhook my car battery after spending 15 minutes taking the remote battery out and trying to program it in a pinch. Told them no and that I would just return them and find the ones that work.
