I keep hearing that we brush our teeth too hard and use bristles that are too hard. I know I won't stop brushing my teeth until all the "fur" is gone from my teeth and my teeth are sparkling clean. I even brush my tongue to make sure all bacteria are gone. While brushing your teeth this way, using the bristles you have will destroy your gums. And once they retire, they don't grow back. So, YES, switch to a soft bristled brush like I did. Keep those teeth sparkling clean with less damage to enamel and gums. This brush is amazingly soft and feels so good doing its job. My only concern is that the wooden handle needs to be flatter with grooves for a better grip, rather than smooth and rounded. If it could be changed I would give 5 stars. Swap your toothbrush for incredibly soft bristles!
