I bought CEP Progressive+ Run 2.0 Men's Compression Socks for Running, Cross Training, Fitness, Calf Injuries, Cleft Shins, Recovery and Athletics, Compression Pressure 20-30mmHg, White/Black, Size 4 from Pike to Peak via Revain. I wear size 12 shoes and bought a size 4. I think they fit perfectly. This is a very thin but durable material. Each sock is specifically designed for left or right foot and features an embroidered "L" or "R". They are relatively easy to put on by rolling them up and putting them on the way women used to put on pantyhose. Taking it off is a bit tricky. I'm about 55 years old. About 2 years ago I tore my calf muscle while running. After 2-3 months of painful recovery, I felt my calf begin to relax within a few hundred yards every time I tried to walk. If I hadn't stopped immediately, I would have had a few weeks of painful recovery. Before I went to the doctor, I did a little research and found out about compression stockings. I bought these socks. From my first attempts at running, I ran as long as I wanted with no calf problems. I now have 2 pairs of these socks and am thinking of a third. Same result for both. I no longer worry about my caviar. I never saw a doctor because it seemed like the end of a lifetime running program and I haven't had a muscle strain since. I can't believe they can make such a difference. But I'm a true believer.
