Review on Fox Racing Shox Sided 027 00 008 by Dominic Ceo

I bought this to service the front and rear Fox shocks on my new Jamis Dakar full suspension mountain bike. I like the double sided dial on the gauge (0-100 on one side and 0-300psi on the other). Another plus is the flexible inflation tube that makes inflation easier when pumping up. I've serviced my rear shock to 180psi with no issues and tested it with a separate gauge to make sure it's fine. However, about 1/4 stroke does not occur while the pump is being pressurized with air. One complaint was that there was a lot of air leaking from the shock when the threaded valve is removed and while there was a very slight hiss of air loss this should happen with any pump and in my experience it was negligible. If you are concerned, simply inflate the shock to 5-10psi to make up the difference when you unscrew the threaded valve. Overall this is a quality pump and I would recommend it for use on shocks and tires.
