Suitable for TV

We have a large wall in our living room that we were struggling to find the right artwork to hang. Nothing seemed right in style or color. This TV goes very well with the 4K TV and the art that we can modify and play with. TV Mode: The included instructions are a bit confusing as you have conflicting information in 3 different guides/quick guides. I've always been surprised by companies that tend to over-communicate instead of focusing on clarity and conciseness. 4K LED. Significantly improved image quality compared to my old Samsung 1080. Much brighter and cleaner. Easy to find picture and sound controls. I'm still playing around with the settings, so I can't offer many details here. My main goal is to turn off or reduce motion smoothing to get rid of the soap opera effect and you can do that. The sound is nowhere near what a dedicated theater system can produce, but it's surprisingly good with fairly clear speech. The remote control is easy. but it works without any issues and replaces the remote I use for the firestick so I'm very happy I can only use one remote. The One Connect box can be great or nerve wracking depending on how you use it. I try to hide everything so that there is nothing on the wall except the TV itself. To do this, you need to hide the box in the wall. For those looking for dimensions, I measure my box as 13 11/16"W x 5 3/8"D x 2 9/16"H or 346mm x 136mm x 65mm. I still have it not figured out, but it will happen one way or another! The single cable from the One Connect box to the TV is pretty cool in the sense that both the TV signals (coax, USB, HDMI, etc.) and the Run electricity through this clean, thin cable. Pretty amazing cable has fiber optic tubing inside, so you can't bend the cable too much around corners, which is probably not a big deal for most people, but be aware it will damage it can be and is property in or on a TV cabinet Cable looks much better than a bunch of dangling cables It's crisp and doesn't stick out from the wall Artistic Mode: The no-gap wall mount fits great and the TV fits snugly on the wall like a picture frame very nice feature d as helps sell artistic image and smooth TV m. If presented art didn't "fool the kid” – I say it all depends on the lighting in your room and what kind of art you are exhibiting. Our living room is very bright during the day and what we are displaying could lead anyone to believe it is a framed photograph. Real paintings are not usually displayed behind glass. So if you want people to believe that you have an original Rembrandt hanging on your wall, you will be disappointed. However, if you want to display a large, high quality print of this Rembrandt, behind museum quality glass in a beautiful frame and mat, it will look fantastic. The same applies to high-quality photos. The TV comes with a 30-day Samsung Art Store trial, which you can continue for a monthly subscription fee of $4.99. There are many works of different styles, artists and media. Most of the drawings here are not in our style, so obviously this part is very subjective. I wish for more high-quality landscape and nature photos. Lots of Monet, Manet, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, lots of fruit vases and plump, round, half-naked women and cherubs, if that's what you like. Overall, I'd say there are at least a few things that everyone will enjoy. With the SmartThings app on your phone, you can upload your own images for display. I had some problems here as I could only view my uploads without Mate or with Shadow Mate. All other mats only show a black screen. I hope a future update will fix this. Speaking of mats, mat sizes, color options and customization options are surprisingly limited given the premium art mode you're paying for this TV. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but you'll have a sort of "haha, looks like he can/should do better" reaction. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. Appearance and features generally meet my needs. There are a few areas in art mode that could be improved to really polish this up, such as: B. More matte colors, matte options, fix matte issues with uploaded files. All of this can be done with a firmware update I hope. In the meantime 4 out of 5 Feel free to answer specific questions in the comments **Edit 4/30/2020** Remove one star and be tempted to delete 2. Samsung has done some unforgivable things with this TV. For starters, the total storage on the TV itself is less than 4GB, and much of that is gobbled up by the Samsung Hub and the associated apps it puts at your disposal. If you are familiar with Samsung phones, you will understand what I am talking about. If you never watch UFCTV, it's too bad for you, it can't be removed. It's shocking that the photos you upload even in art mode only have 500MB of storage space. Seriously and completely stupid. Flash memory is very cheap, and with the $2,000 I spent on it, they might give 16 or 32GB. You can use a USB flash drive to transfer photos to and from your TV, but you cannot view them directly from USB. Why Samsung TV is the default boot option. If you're using an external FireTV, AppleTV, Roku, etc., it can't be set as the default, only apps. Why? The OneConnect box is pretty odd to deal with. Looking at my old (2015) 60-inch Samsung, this FrameTV isn't noticeably thinner, so why separate the guts? And what to do with this thing? thin, like a transparent cable, it makes sense. If you want a photo frame on the wall to turn into a TV, it's really difficult. Kind of hiding it, and I did, but only because that useless corner cabinet in my kitchen happened to be right behind the wall I hung the TV on. But here Samsung is wrong again. On the back of the TV, where the Oneconnect cable connects to the TV, it has a small groove that allows the cable to be routed down and to the TV (see anywhere you need to put the cable in a position in which allows it to be routed through the wall? no cubes. I already cut a hole in my wall for a recessed AV box but it didn't fit. I had to cut a 4" slot in the wall to accommodate this Could run cables through and down. Really stupid and mindless stuff is played here. I like the end result, but it worked in my circumstances. I doubt most people will be happy when they get to the devilish details. A Factory reset to try and fix my storage space issue This is the second support forced me to do a reset All my favorite art store You're gone all the photos, I uploaded are gone, I have to go through the cumbersome TV setup process again - Samsung account login, Netflix credentials, Revain credentials, plus all the typical TV settings would be ok if it actually did anything useful. Before the reset, I had about 200MB of photos and 1 app, but I only had 16% free space left. After the reset it was 29% free! Guess once I copy my photos back I'll be pretty much the same as before. Samsung is about to send a technician home to watch TV. I'm pretty sure it's a waste of time since their software and forced apps are so bloated. I hope I'm wrong, but it's probably not a hardware issue. When I called I was asked if I would like to take the survey after the call ended and I said yes. Funny when I spoke to the tech she said to hang up and call me back "in 2 seconds". I hung up and she called me back almost immediately. Pretty weird. After our call ended I was expecting a poll to come up to rate the call/service, but that didn't happen. I think the recall was a ploy to remove the poll. Now very disappointed with the purchase. It still looks cool, but I feel like I wasted $2,000 on an unfinished, poorly designed, and poorly maintained device. It's 3rd generation - you'd think they figured it out
