Surf and this stand.

I needed more storage space in my garage so I wanted to upgrade from a wall surf rack to a ceiling rack and this was just that Correct.1. What's in the box?: You will receive the stand in a fairly small box, disassembled parts, along with screw fixings (see below) and instructions.2. Installation?: The installation was pretty easy. The rack comes in two base units with two end units (per rack mount) that you simply slide in and lock with a push button mechanism. But I would put them last! Racks are supplied with screw fixings with plastic dowels. I'm sure this will be sufficient for many installations. Personally, I haven't had any cleats to try and install to ensure a secure fit. Instead I only had drywall (drywall) so I felt more comfortable with anchor bolts that were easily found at my local hardware store. As with any bolt, I was able to install and tighten it in no time. There are TWO holes in each rack, so install 4 holes in total. After pulling up, simply clip on the ends and you're done.3. Usage?: It's great. The space between the ceiling top of the mount and the brackets is more than enough to place at the top of the page or slide down the posts depending on placement. that they are not so rigid that they cause problems with mounting a surfboard or anything else on a stand. But it's going nowhere. All in all: the perfect solution to my garage storage problem. Absolutely delighted to have found and received this. Big problem solved and my paddles for my board and kayak (and rod) are safely stowed and easily accessible. Ideal.
