Well, you get what you pay for. Don't normally write reviews but I don't want someone to pay and deal with the consequences.Not sure if we got a bad batch or what. The front legs hardly match up to the slots they go in which makes the pre drilled holes in the chair base and the legs misaligned, making it difficult to not cross thread the bolts. Couldn't always get 2 out of 2 bolts into the front legs but one bolt seems to work and is strong enough. Didn't run into any issues bolting the backrest to the base. Once together the chairs are sturdy. assuming everything lines up. The balancing screws are not that great. Was really considering returning these, but hopefully the 4th and final chair goes together well and we can move on. Also, it's hard to get the legs out once you've hammered them in trying to get them to seat.In summary. I would not recommend these to a friend, but they work, kind of. Don't buy.
