Excellent blocks for thermometers

I use these blocks to check the efficiency of air conditioners and heaters. They work great. 2 units, one for In Temp, one for Out Temp, the difference will tell you how well it works. I just drilled holes in the duct next to the indoor unit (1 inlet and one outlet). Most useful for air conditioning, but not bad for heating!
