This is prefabricated furniture that you assemble yourself, like Ikea but slightly better quality. It's well made, with proper drawer runners and good overall strength and finish. I would buy from this manufacturer again. Some minor issues: the shipping box was a bit difficult to open (although the contents were well protected); As with Ikea, you usually need a few more tools than the instructions say. A good pair of pliers and a long-bladed screwdriver will suffice (not just a screwdriver with interchangeable bits). You need to pay close attention to the diagrams in the assembly instructions to get it right. Again, like Ikea, they use snails to hold the main components together; The fixed posts are a bit odd for them though - they work on an expansion principle, so you have to slide them into their original position and then pull on the center pin to hold them in place (pliers will help with this); By twisting the auger fittings, they tighten and lock everything in place.
