My husband has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. This makes the nerves in his hands sensitive to cold - he can't even touch a doorknob, for example, without feeling a strong burning sensation. Instead of being stuck in the bathroom because he can't turn the knob, I bought these hoping they would work. They do. He keeps one in his pocket and if he can't touch something he can pull it out and put it on. I was concerned when I first saw them that they were too small. They are stretchy and fit perfectly. PS: Cancer sucks! Get a colonoscopy. Don't hesitate.
