The movable magnetic arms can be placed anywhere on the base, which is a great advantage when it comes to positioning. Ideal for small boards and large boards. The device comes with multiple hands. Brackets allow you to hold and fix the workpiece in any position. If every thought is blocked, your workpiece will not move on the base. My 11x17 base is very heavy, it doesn't move on the table on rubber legs. It is easy to remove solder and rosin from the base with alcohol without leaving any traces on the surface. The best 3rd party tool I have ever used or found. Worth the money if I had had it for the last 30 years. This greatly simplifies working with electronic boards and objects and speeds up the process. Third-hand tools are also great for model builders.
